Andrea Valdez, MS is a Gerontologist with a long career and passion for working with older adults, veterans, and caregivers. She is a Reiki III Master Level Practitioner, completing her training in Savannah, GA in 2017. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Howard University and Master of Science in Gerontology from the Medical College of VA. As a military mother and spouse, she enjoys helping others to become their best self through positivity and mindfulness.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Marie Carter is a recently retired Registered Nurse. She earned her BSN from Armstrong State College in Savannah and spent a long career working with older adults in hospital and long term care settings. She has always been interested in health promotion and alternative healing modalities as a complement to traditional medicine. She was attuned to Level II Reiki in 2018.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mark Colville is a US Army veteran and a Usui/Holy Fire III  Reiki and Karuna Reiki ®Master/Teacher. Mark was first introduced to Reiki in 2004, and in 2017 he was trained as a Reiki Master, followed by Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki ®Master in 2018.  Reiki has become a way of life for Mark, and he enjoys sharing its gifts through classes and sessions.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All Reiki for Vets volunteers have undergone a thorough fingerprint and background check. Each VA-approved, volunteer provider should have, on their person, a US Department of Veteran’s Affairs ID tag for your security.
